Another jam-packed, fun-filled weekend in the books. I think I need a sugar detox from all the cake I ate this weekend.
On Saturday, I took Hank to his first movie in the theater. I had been wanting to take him for a while but I usually have both boys with me and I don’t think Reid is old enough to sit through a whole show. Kevin had off this Saturday so we were able to check out Moana. We LOVED it and thought it was fantastic. The characters! The songs! There weren’t really any age appropriate movies out so we really had only picked it because reviews said that it was fine for three years old and there was an afternoon show. But, we were amazed and are already talking about scooping it up as soon as it is out on DVD.
Me and my boy.
Saturday night we headed over to celebrate my Mommom turning 89!!! Doesn’t she look fantastic?! I love getting together with all of my cousins and Aunts so we had a wonderful time. The boys always love seeing their “Granni”.
Kisses for Granni.
My boy helping to blow out the candles.
Love these two.
Sunday was my birthday and my boys sure knew how to make their Mama feel special. They made my favorite chocolate chip pancakes followed by wonderful presents. My family came over for lunch, cake and some playtime. Afterwards Kevin took me and the boys out for some frozen yogurt. I am still in a food coma.
My very own cake decorator.
Loving his Daddy.
Soo..I think I need to get my roots done. I swear they don’t look that bad in person.
