Weekend Roundup

We’ve had a lazy couple of days over in this house which are my favorite types of days.

On Saturday I ran some errands with the boys then took them to the local picture studio for some updated pics. They were actually really excited to get their picture taken and it showed. I thought this pic came out awesome and it really showed their spirits.

Β

We spent the rest of our Saturday hanging at my parents house and lounging at home.

On Sunday we got to work on the baby’s nursery. We ended up purchasing a new crib and spent the day clearing out the clutter and priming the walls. We had some “helpers” that made the job take 5x longer than necessary.

After dinner we took the boys to a large park along the Delaware River not far from our house. There is a little beach where we skipped rocks and watched the airplanes land. We watched the butterflies in the butterfly garden and played in the playground before heading home.

Something tells me that this rock isn’t the best for skipping.

Reid LOVED watching the airplanes.Β He would wave and scream hello to every single one. My parents would take us to this park all the time when we were growing up. I remember taking my Dad’s boat to that little island you can see in the distance and picnicking.

Monday is back to reality. Don’t these cutie pies look great in their eclipse glasses? Hank loved watching the eclipse. It held Reid’s attention for about 5 seconds.

I love that you guys were skipping rocks. I can’t do that and I’m jealous of people who know how. Your boys are so adorable!!! The eclipse was awesome here in KY where I’m visiting. Hope you’re feeling well and the week is off to a great start cute little mama!
