We’re back folks! It is April, and it’s Monday and I am happy to report that we had a fantastic weekend.
We had a low key Friday night followed by a slow motion Saturday morning.
Cooking with my kids is probably one of my favorite tasks that we do together. When they are occupied by cooking they are patient, they listen, and take turns. It’s probably because they know that there is a yummy reward at the end.
This boy is my sweet eater. He’s just like his Mama.
Cheese cheese stuffed pudding cake. It is soooo good.
We had to run out to pick up the boys’ race bags with their bib numbers for their races.
Later we headed out to celebrate our sweet niece/goddaughter turning one!! We love our Emily so so much and we were all very happy to celebrate her big milestone. There are 5 little ones all around the same age on Kevin’s side of the family and they have a BLAST whenever they are together.
Is she not the most precious thing?!
All hands on deck for cake!
Reid snuggling with my sweet mother-in-law.
The sun was shining in NJ Sunday morning so we played a little outside before (and after) swim class.
My little fish are ready to dive in.
Where are Hank and Reid?
There they are!
Cruisin’ the property.
Sunday was also opening day for Track Season. Hank has raced a ton of times but this season he is REALLY into it. He is practicing and running drills all over the house. It’s Reid’s first season and, while he is pumped to be on the team, we’re not sure he really GETS it. Either way, he is absolutely adorable to watch.
My parents joined us for the race.

My super duper racer.
