We are here again, folks. Another round of Friday Favorites and another week of summer gone. We are going to keep it light this weekend and stay in the area rather than hitting the beach. Reid will be having surgery on Tuesday to repair a hernia and fix another congenital issue. He has been hospitalized before but this is his first time going under anesthesia so if have any spare prayers please shoot them our way.
While you are here, check out my other posts from the week:
I shared some birthday celebrations.
I updated you all on my pregnancy in First Trimester Review.
And, like usual, I shared my Weekend Roundup.

We took the kids to the water park over the weekend and we are still talking about how much fun we had. We did the slides (I stuck to the safer kiddie slides), played in the kids area and the activity pool, lunched by the ocean and lounged around the lazy river. Because Reid’s surgery was scheduled so quickly I was glad we went when we did. I think we need to make this a summer tradition.
I am OBSESSED with this show. It is beyond hilarious but a little crude as long as you don’t mind that. It’s on Netflix and Kevin (who almost NEVER watches television) and I have been majorly binging every night before bed every night. We are staying up way later than we should cracking up laughing and hoping we don’t wake the kids.
We drink a ton of Odwalla drinks in our house so I got this Ninja to start making our own smoothies. Our blender is terrible at chopping ice so I’m looking forward to trying out some fun new recipes this weekend.
This week we celebrated Kevin’s 34th birthday as well as my Mom’s 60th. We are still hopped up on cake and ice cream. Storms rolled in on Wednesday so T-Ball was cancelled. Last minute we ended up having Kevin’s family over for pizza, cake and games instead. It was simple and fun.
We also celebrated my mother’s birthday with dinner, cake, and even a piñata for the kids filled with candy.
