Friday Favorites

Hey friends! I mentioned earlier in the week how May is our crazy time of year. I look forward to it so much because it is always jam packed with fun stuff. I feel like we are getting a head start on the craziness pretty early this year because we have a fun, jammed weekend coming up. Between birthday parties, baby showers, kids sports and the home opener for our local AFL team (Kevin is the team PT) we are going to be run ragged.

If you want to catch up on our week, check out the latest posts.

I hit you all with 10 Random Facts About Me.
I shared what’s going on in our world on What’s Up Wednesday.

So now on to my favorites:

Coverups

I’m shopping for some coverups for this summer. I just want something lightweight and comfy. Not too light because I know it will end up with popsicle juice on it.

Summer Plans

On Wednesday I mentioned that I am making a ton of plans for our summer. So far we have planned a trip to Niagara Falls, a trip to Disney (ok that’s September but I’m counting it), pirate weekend at the beach, tickets for the piers on the boardwalk, the water park, our town fair, Storybook Land, the aquarium and Dutch Wonderland. Let the summer fun commence!

Family Bike Rides

We are proud to report that we have finally reached a stage with the boys where we can go on family bike rides. Kevin has been not so patiently waiting for this for a LONG time. Reid has a little tricycle that he will return de but honestly he is SO SLOW. Like it takes 15 minutes to pass one house kind of slow. Since I can’t exactly shout to my 2 year old that he needs to hustle up, we are putting him in the kid carrier on the back of Kevin’s bike for longer rides through the park.

Baby Visits

I finally took the boys over to meet my sweet goddaughter who was just born. I couldn’t bring them sooner because they had colds. Man, did they’ve love her. The whole way home they wouldn’t stop saying she was beautiful and they were so proud of themselves for holding her. They both love babies so they are already asking when they can play with her again.

While you’re here check out a few of my wonderful blog friends.

I’m jealous of your bike rides! Both of mine can ride now, but Robert and I haven’t purchased bikes for ourselves yet. Need to get on that! Have a fun weekend!

This summer is the first in a while that I’m not pregnant so I can’t wait for family bike rides either! And vacations are always something to look forward to!

Love the pineapple cover up, I’m always on the lookout for good ones because I feel like you can never have too many! We took our kids to Dutch Wonderland when they were younger, it’s such a cute little park. Now when we visit PA we go to Hershey Park! Happy Friday!
